NCDs Media Training on Diabetes by Dr Nancy Ngugi August 4 2020

In Kenya, there is a lack of understanding about diabetes, including among journalists. NCDAK embarked on an NCD media training to provide journalists with potentially life-saving information for them to be able to relay this information about diabetes to the public effectively.

Dr Nancy Ngugi, head of diabetes and endocrine clinic, Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi, Kenya, facilitated the training emphasising on the need to educate people about NCDs and chronic illnesses because that is an issue not only in Kenya but in Africa.
